We agreed to join A Rocha’s Eco Church scheme in 2019, and in 2025 we reached silver status as an Eco Church. We are committed to being stewards of God's creation. We believe that caring for the environment is a way of demonstrating our love for God's creation and ensuring that future generations can enjoy the beauty and resources of our planet.
Our mission is to reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices within our Church building, grounds, congregation and beyond. This involves making conscious choices in our daily lives, such as conserving energy, reducing waste, and supporting local and eco-friendly products.
Let us embrace this mission with enthusiasm and dedication, knowing that every small step we take can lead to significant change. Together, we can create a greener, more sustainable future for all.
Using A Rocha’s categories to focus our efforts, we are constantly striving to find new ways to become more eco- friendly.
